My Passion

"I have had a passion for mental health after a personal journey with my own family. Having a child suffering from ADHD and anxiety and spending countless hours researching behavioral therapies, natural supplements, diet changes, and pharmaceutical management. As a nurse practitioner, I have encountered many children presenting with physical illness with underlying psychological disorders. My conclusions personally and professionally have led me to realize that mental health is multifactorial. I find it so important to rule out physical disease to ensure treatment from psychological problems can be optimized. I want to help families walk this journey and support them in every way possible. I believe that this should be a team approach with professionals and family members who can come together to create an individualized plan that works best for the patient and their environment.”
