Taylor Sellers

BA – Purdue University // MS – Indiana University South Bend

From a young age, Taylor Sellers knew she wanted to help people. While she once imagined that might mean becoming a firefighter or police officer, her path unfolded differently. When she became an aunt in fifth grade, her passion for caring for and supporting children began to grow. In high school, Taylor interned in her niece’s classroom, which inspired her to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Yet what truly stood out to her wasn’t academics—it was connection. She was drawn to children who struggled emotionally, listening to their stories and wanting to be someone they could lean on.

That passion led Taylor to become a school counselor, where she spent four years supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Over time, she realized she wanted to go even deeper—working with individuals of all ages, exploring the layers of their experiences, and helping them find healing and growth. This calling led her to pursue a career in mental health counseling, where she now serves as an Associate Clinician at The Anxiety Center.

Taylor’s unique background blends education and counseling, giving her multiple perspectives on children and families—academic, emotional, and relational. This foundation has shaped her into a therapist who values connection above all else, and who is deeply committed to walking alongside clients through every stage of their journey.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time in nature, especially by the water. She loves cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, trying new restaurants in Indianapolis, and getting lost in a good book. Family and friends are central to her life, and she treasures laughter, conversation, and making memories with them.

My passion

"I take a compassion-focused, person-centered approach, creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help clients notice their thoughts and feelings without judgment, clarify their values, and take committed action toward a meaningful life. I remain flexible and curious, always meeting clients where they are and growing alongside them in therapy."
