My Passion

“My journey in mental health began with a genuine curiosity about how the brain works, with its unique ability to create patterns, behaviors, and belief systems. My own struggles with anxiety as a child often left me longing for someone to help explain and normalize what I was experiencing. That desire grew into a passion not only to help myself, but also to help others who find themselves in the midst of their own mental health challenges.

I feel fortunate to have acquired the knowledge and training to help others grow, heal, and change, while breaking down the stigma around mental health. I believe that with the right support, psychoeducation, and will of the human spirit, people can live a life they love. It’s okay to have a little help along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and eight adorable nieces and nephews. I love exercising (yoga, pilates, and barre), walking at Sharon Woods, watching and cheering on local basketball and football teams, and relaxing at my favorite café with a cup of coffee.”
