My passion

"My Journey in Mental Health began with my genuine curiosity for how the brain works. Its unique ability to create patterns, behaviors, and belief systems. My own struggles with anxiety as a child, often had me longing for someone to explain or help normalize the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing. My passion grew from the desire to learn more not only to help myself but to one day help others who were in the midst of their own mental health struggles. I feel fortunate to have acquired the knowledge I needed to not only help others grow, heal, and change but have a platform to break down mental health stigmas.  I’m confident that with the right support, psychoeducation and will of the human spirit, people can live a life of their greatest potential.  I believe everyone has the ability to live a great story. Its OKAY to have a little help along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my 8 adorable nieces and nephews, exercising(yoga, pilates, and barre), walking at Sharon woods, watching and cheering on local basketball and football teams and browsing the aisles at target with my favorite cup of coffee.”
