IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program

What is IOP?

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a treatment option for people who require more support than regular outpatient therapy but do not need round-the-clock supervision. IOP is designed to accommodate the patient’s daily responsibilities like work, school, or family, making it a flexible option for those who need structured treatment while continuing with their daily activities.

How does it work?

IOP typically involves attending therapy sessions several days per week, for multiple hours each day, usually totaling 9 to 20 hours per week. The specific structure can vary, but the focus is on intensive therapy that includes both group and individual sessions.

Why Choose The Anxiety Center for IOP?

Integrated Evidence-Based Approaches: CBT, DBT, and ERP

Our Intensive Outpatient Program combines the best practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), all of which have robust scientific evidence supporting their effectiveness in treating various mental health disorders.

Our Approach

Welcome to The Anxiety Center, where we are dedicated to offering specialized and compassionate care to individuals struggling with primary anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Our approach is deeply rooted in behavioral therapy, emphasizing the proven methodologies of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In our center, patients engage closely with skilled behavior therapists in individual therapy sessions, focusing on creating customized behavior plans. These sessions, typically held five times a week, are complemented by weekly family therapy, acknowledging the significant role of familial support in the treatment process. We also incorporate educational and active treatment groups, alongside intensive ERP sessions led by our trained clinicians, to provide a comprehensive, immersive treatment experience. The Anxiety Center is committed to guiding each patient through their journey of recovery, ensuring a supportive, understanding, and effective treatment environment.

The Difference

The cornerstone of Care

At The Anxiety Center, our foundational approach to care is encapsulated in our Enhanced Treatment Program (ETP), a comprehensive and tailored strategy designed to address the unique needs of each individual.

01.

Measurement-based care

At The Anxiety Center, Measurement-Based Care forms a critical part of our commitment to accountability in treatment outcomes. This proactive, data-driven approach not only enhances patient outcomes but also reflects our dedication to holding ourselves accountable for the effectiveness of our care.

02.

Personalized Treatment Strategy

We tailor our therapy packages to each patient's unique needs, recognizing the importance of individualized treatment paths. This approach involves differentiating therapy types, intensities, and frequencies, ensuring that each patient's therapy is precisely aligned with their specific challenges and progress in dealing with anxiety or OCD. By employing a range of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention, we ensure that each patient receives a personalized, effective therapeutic experience.

03.

Integrated Care and Team

The Anxiety Center, our focus is on whole-person treatment, aiming to provide more than just symptom relief. We strive to give our patients a holistic health perspective, a sense of purpose, and a sustainable wellness plan for post-treatment life.
