Our Approach
The Anxiety Center adopts a comprehensive, integrated approach to treating substance abuse, combining evidence-based psychotherapies, medication management, interventional procedures, and intensive service lines. Our treatment programs include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), recognized as the most effective psychotherapies for substance abuse. These therapies help patients develop coping strategies, enhance motivation for change, and address underlying psychological issues. Medication management involves using FDA-approved medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, supporting long-term recovery. Interventional procedures, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine treatments, are utilized to address co-occurring mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, which often accompany substance abuse. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide structured, supportive environments where patients receive comprehensive care, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and holistic support services. This multipronged approach ensures that each patient receives personalized, effective care tailored to their unique needs, fostering sustainable recovery and improving overall well-being. The Anxiety Center's commitment to innovation, quality care, and accessibility ensures that patients have the best possible chance for long-term sobriety and a healthier, more fulfilling life.
