Our program offers in-person, virtual, or hybrid participation options. Customization is central—no cookie-cutter approach. Our assessments are grounded in gold standard methodologies and tailored to your specific needs. Experience a personalized path to understanding cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. We focus on getting it right, ensuring comprehensive and precise evaluations.
At The Anxiety Center, we believe that optimal treatment begins with high-quality assessment. That is why every child, or adult, that comes to our center undergoes comprehensive diagnostic and functional assessments.
These assessments are conducted to solidify treatment targets and ensure adequate dosage. Attempting to treat a child or adult before understanding their needs is ineffective and, at its worst, can lead to frustration and hopelessness.
Sometimes patients need a more specialized assessment to answer questions with regards to learning, attention, executive functioning, developmental disabilities, or cognitive and memory difficulties. Our testing program was designed with those children in mind and has the goal of informing intervention development and providing families with clear answers.
At The Anxiety Center, you will find that we deliver (4As) accelerated, accurate, accessible, and actionable reports written for your family and directly linked to your child's treatment needs.

You need answers delivered in a timely manner and we commit to do it without compromising quality
We only use gold standard instruments with the best psychometric properties in class
We promise to deliver a report that delivers all the important information but is written with you in mind
The reason for an evaluation is to inform your child's treatment and thats precisely what we will deliver
No single instrument tells the whole story. We combine multiple data sources to build a complete, accurate picture of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Standardized one-on-one testing sessions conducted by a licensed neuropsychologist using gold standard instruments for cognitive, academic, and neuropsychological functioning.
Validated questionnaires completed by parents, teachers, and the patient themselves — capturing behavioral and emotional functioning across home, school, and clinical settings.
Objective computerized measures for attention, processing speed, and executive functioning — providing precise, bias-free data that standardized paper testing cannot capture.
Assessment findings are translated into a personalized treatment program by the clinical team — not just a report, but a roadmap for what happens next.
We coordinate directly with schools, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure findings are communicated and implemented where they matter most.
Assessment is not a one-time event. All patients undergo frequent progress monitoring so treatment can be adjusted in real-time based on current functioning levels.

All new patients go through an initial evaluation that includes a review of psychological history, a neuropsychiatric interview, and contact with all pertinent providers and school-based personnel. Assessment measures are delivered to cross-reference stakeholder observations across settings.
As part of our routine assessment procedures, all patients undergo frequent progress monitoring to determine rates of improvement and to inform the clinical team on any treatment adjustment that may be needed. Assessment is an iterative process — adjusted to the patient's current levels of functioning in real-time. By the end of our assessment you will have a clear understanding of where you have been, where you are at, and where you are going.
For most children, the terms neuropsychological, psychoeducational, or psychological testing are interchangeable — they refer to assessments that measure specific facets of cognitive, motor, behavioral, and linguistic functioning.
At TAC our neuropsychological testing program is targeted at identifying the cognitive and learning strengths and weaknesses of each child. In complex cases, it also allows us to provide patients with the most sophisticated means of differentiating between psychological disorders. Our reports are written to the family and for the child. The evaluation is not the end — it is the beginning of a journey.
If you, your physician, or your child's teachers have developed concerns surrounding attention, executive functioning (organization, problem solving, goal-oriented behavior), or impulsivity, it may be appropriate to determine whether ADHD is present.
Our ADHD assessment program utilizes the most advanced objective computer-based instrumentation combined with clinical interviews, direct observation, multi-informant rating scales, and expert analysis of results. We promise to provide accelerated, accurate, accessible, and actionable results — and can connect you with the best in behavioral interventions and supports.
