Blake Smith

Fractional CMO

Location: Cincinnati

Education: B.S. in Mathematics, Minor in Psychology – Hillsdale College

Blake Smith is a growth marketer and strategist with 15+ years of experience helping organizations reach the people who need them most. He serves The Anxiety Center as Fractional CMO, bringing professional expertise and genuine personal investment to the work.

Before transitioning to fractional consulting, Blake spent eight years as a tech CEO, giving him a rare combination of executive perspective and hands-on marketing execution. He writes a newsletter read by more than 15,000 people and is the author of an upcoming book on family and marriage dynamics, publishing with Baker/Revell in Fall 2026.

Blake studied Mathematics at Hillsdale College, where he also picked up a minor in Psychology — less by plan than by curiosity. He has spent time in full-time ministry and serves as an elder at his church in Cincinnati. His extended family has been significantly affected by mental health challenges, and that experience is a driving reason he brings his work to The Anxiety Center.

Outside of work, you'll find him spending time with his wife Chandler and their seven kids, training and teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, building apps with AI, playing music, or out on Lake Norris for some watersports.

My Passion

"I accidentally minored in psychology in college and never stopped being curious about how people work. My family has faced real mental health challenges, and I know firsthand how much it matters whether families can find the right help. Being part of The Anxiety Center isn't just a professional engagement for me. It's personal."
