Marlenny Barrett
2 years of college – The Dominican Republic
Marlenny Barrett has always had a passion for caring for others. Knowing how deeply mental illness can affect people’s lives, she is dedicated to finding ways to support those in need. This calling led her to her role as Clinic Director at The Anxiety Center, where she combines compassion and leadership to ensure patients feel welcomed and cared for.
Her day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with patients to make sure their needs are met and providing direct treatments. For over three years, Marlenny has delivered TMS therapy for patients and also assists with Spravato treatments when needed. Beyond her clinical duties, she ensures the clinic runs smoothly and fosters an environment where patients feel supported.
Marlenny’s journey is marked by resilience and determination. She came to the United States on her own, without family and without knowledge of the English language, building her life and career through perseverance.
Outside of work, Marlenny enjoys crafting projects, especially working with wood and flowers. These creative pursuits bring her joy and balance outside of her professional life.
