Steven Schneider
Education: M.D. – University of Illinois College of Medicine | Psychiatry Residency – Indiana University
Dr. Schneider is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and serves as the supervising psychiatrist for our TAC facilities in Montgomery, Ohio, and Fishers, Indiana. He is passionate about providing evidence-based, compassionate, and comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Schneider brings 30 years of experience in advanced psychopharmacology and interventional psychiatry. He has worked across the full spectrum of psychiatric care, including inpatient, partial-hospitalization, and outpatient settings.
In addition to his work at TAC, Dr. Schneider currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the Assurance Health System, overseeing operations across Ohio, Kansas, and Indiana. He is best known for his holistic approach to care and for his belief that “the secret of caring for the patient lies in caring for the patient.” Whenever needed or requested, Dr. Schneider is eager to serve as a consultant and resource for our clinical team and patients.
