Amy Dudley is a Therapist and IOP Facilitator at The Anxiety Center in Dayton. Her path into mental health grew directly from her lived experiences. Amy has navigated severe anxiety, the long-term effects of trauma, and the challenging process of being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Learning how her own mind works, how it responds to stress, and how it can be supported sparked a deep passion for helping others make sense of their internal world.
Amy works with teens and adults who are experiencing PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, sexual violence, childhood trauma, traumatic stress, addiction, or loss. Her therapy style is warm, client-centered, and grounded in compassion and curiosity. She believes every person deserves a space where they feel seen, understood, and respected. Amy works collaboratively with clients to help them understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life they want.
She strives to help her clients feel safe, empowered, and more connected to themselves. Her goal is to help people understand their nervous system, gain clarity about their emotional patterns, and build practical tools that reduce overwhelm and increase resilience. When Amy joined The Anxiety Center, she felt aligned with a team that values compassion, clinical excellence, and genuine respect for each individual. The experience reaffirmed why she does this work and the importance of being part of a team that truly cares.
My Passion
"Outside of work, my greatest passion is my family. My husband and children keep me grounded and inspired. I share my home with a lively little crew that includes my Schnoodle, Bo, two cats named Bella and Frisk, and a rescue turtle named Nugget. I love being outdoors, whether I am camping, kayaking, or staying active in any way I can. Creative expression is also a big part of my life. I enjoy reading, writing poetry and music, singing, and staying connected to my background as a dancer and dance coach. These parts of my life keep me balanced and close to what matters most."
