Anjali Jain is an Associate Psychologist at The Anxiety Center in Cincinnati. Her journey into mental health is deeply personal and shaped by her early experiences with misdiagnoses and fragmented care. Navigating the challenges of being misunderstood strengthened her dedication to comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment. Her work is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a belief that every person’s identity and background meaningfully influence how they understand distress and healing.
Anjali has worked across outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential settings, where she has seen firsthand the limitations of traditional models of care for people with complex mental health challenges. These experiences inspired her passion for developing and implementing evidence-based programs that support nuanced, person-centered treatment. This commitment to thoughtful, research-informed care is what led her to join The Anxiety Center, where she collaborates with a team that shares her values.
Anjali works primarily with adults navigating treatment-resistant mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use concerns, and complex anxiety spectrum conditions including OCD and perfectionism. Her therapy style is warm, relatable, gentle, and encouraging. She blends authenticity and humor with collaboration, adjusting her methods to match each individual’s learning style and interpersonal approach. Drawing from DBT, RO-DBT, ACT, IFS, and ERP, and regularly integrating mindfulness, she fosters a safe and empowering environment where clients can explore their inner world with curiosity and compassion.
At the core of Anjali’s work is a belief that every person carries an innate capacity to heal. She aims to help clients uncover the underlying causes of distress, reconnect with their strengths and wisdom, and recognize their inherent worth. Her long-term goal as a clinician is to continue refining programs that bridge cutting-edge research with real-world practice, providing care that is both individualized and grounded in the latest scientific knowledge.
