Jason Cox is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Assistant Clinical Director at The Anxiety Center. With a strong foundation in evidence-based, relationship-centered care, Jason is passionate about helping individuals and families make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

Originally beginning his undergraduate studies in medicine, Jason later discovered his true calling in social work, a field that aligned deeply with his values and purpose. He went on to earn both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.

Jason’s therapeutic focus is on creating an environment where patients feel safe, supported, and empowered from the very beginning of their treatment journey. In both his clinical and leadership roles, he emphasizes the importance of trust, connection, and collaboration between patients, families, and the clinicians who serve them. His approach integrates trauma-informed and compassionate care with practical tools for healing and growth.

My Passion

“My goal is to build strong relationships that support change. Mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, and I believe it’s vital for people to feel seen, safe, and understood right from the start.”
