Lisa Willis is an Associate Clinician at our Fishers, IN office. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Interpersonal Relations from Ball State University in 2013 and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2014. She’s a Cardinal for life.


Lisa brings a diverse background of experience working with children in home, public school, alternative school, and clinical settings. For six years, she provided school-based therapy and participated in multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations for children with a wide range of mental health disorders and clinical presentations.


She is highly skilled in implementing evidence-based psychotherapies tailored to each individual’s unique needs, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).


From the very beginning, Lisa’s warmth and enthusiasm shine through as she partners with children, individuals, and families to foster positive mental and behavioral growth. She is passionate about working collaboratively with parents and professionals to improve the quality of life for children and families facing behavioral challenges or mental health diagnoses.


Lisa believes that communication is the foundation of lasting change. She works closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to ensure consistency, reinforce therapy skills, and promote continued progress. Her top priority with every client is to empower them to take ownership of their actions, build a positive environment for growth, and work together as a team to achieve meaningful goals.

My Passion

"Growing up, I knew I wanted to work with kids, whether it was as a school teacher, counselor, or something along those lines. I quickly realized that being a teacher would remind me too much of the challenges I faced in school. I struggled with extreme test anxiety and low self-esteem. Although I enjoyed school, I often found it difficult to cope with my thoughts and anxiety. 


When I decided to pursue the mental health and social work field, I knew I had found my niche and could help children with behavioral management and emotional regulation. I graduated from graduate school with a 4.0 GPA and discovered my true calling in helping others navigate life’s obstacles. It brings me great joy to provide families with the tools they need to manage stress, anxiety, and behavioral challenges, ultimately improving a child’s environment."
